i had a fun day hangin out with molly at downtown disney yesterday. we were only 20 minutes late to the movie....*ahem*. well we probably would have been there earlier if that cement truck was goin faster than like... 10miles/hr?? lol. seemed like it. we saw Bend it Like Beckham. that ticket lady was really slow. she was all makin small talk too "i have that exact purse except it's black". "oh haha okay...". i later found out she shortchanged me! i gave her a twenty and she gave 3 dollars back! grr. had i checked right when she gave it to me i probably would've received the rest. but i didn't. so anyway, i liked the movie. it had it's My Big Fat Greek Wedding similarities with the stress on family and culture. the plot was predictable at times and Coach Joe was not bad to look at after awhile. ;) it was kind of funny how they made American soccer look the greatest. really?? well i suppose the men's side is mediocre compared to the rest of the world but i guess the women's side is better. hmm...

after the movie we went to go find a place to eat. went to wolfgang puck's. looked at the menu. host got offended by my wearing a puma shirt with converse. left.

then we went to House of Blues. looked at menu. eh... left.

went to Virgin megastore to see what was at the cafe on the upper level. not much. left.

went back to House of Blues. asked for a table outside. one of the girls went to see if there were any ready. we sat down for awhile. finally she came back and said it would take 10 minutes. left.

before we left we went to Starbillia which has all this autographed posters/props from movies. molly wanted to show me the HP section but there were only two items left! an original luggage tag (ooooo) and an original package of envelopes (ahhhhhh). hee hee. molly asked the guy where the other stuff was. he said there was a show where they sent some of the stuff there. however the glasses that they had we sold! glasses from the harry potter movie.... woooww. its price tag was somewhere in the thousands! and someone bought it! how dare they.

molly is on some kind of sushi high so we went to a benihana's that was part of the hilton hotel. the sushi was good! so was the fried rice. oh and the soup too. i'm pretty sure that was tofu... i got the fried crab sushi roll and molly got the shrimp tempura sushi roll. those waiters are very perceptive huh molly! LoL. when he saw we were having chopstick difficulties, when she saw us trying to split the check in our heads. while we were eating, my sister called saying she wanted a choc milkshake. from A&W. she really liked the one at the fl mall for some reason. so we went to the one on main st.

went thru the drive thru.

"i dont see milkshake on the menu do you?"
"no what does it say there?"
"i dunno i can't see "
"hi would you like to try one of our combos today?"
"uhh can we get a chocolate milkshake?"
*silence from the other end*
"oh no we confused her."
"hello can i take your order?"
" oh uhh can i get a chocolate milkshake?"
"we dont have milkshakes ma'am."
"oh okay... thank you"

drives out of drive thru.
hahaha. that was funny! just cuz it wasn't on the menu.... it could've been in the back. somewhere. in some uncharted corner of the kitchen. hee hee. anyway, i had a good time! thanks molly.
