the hair flailing, the uncoordinated movement, the singing offkey without a care....
yes my friends, another concert.
lotsalotsalotsafun! probably because i actually went with a group of friends. it was kate and brother matt, amanda and boyfriend john. the lines filled up so fast. we were to meet at the library at 6:20 but i decided to go over there at around 4:30 to hang around because i was bored out of my mind in the computer lab. amanda, matt, and john were coming from Apopka and Kate had a class until 6:00. Real Rock was already there handing out shirts and bags of stuff. i started to stand in line at like 5:30 thinking i would just have them catch up to me in the line. by the time they were letting us in, the line had almost gone out to the dirt lot across the street. they FINALLY let us in at 6:30 (took forever). it was general admission so first come, best seats. anyway so i went inside already, got my nachos, while the rest weren't even at the arena yet. they gave me one of those wrist bands to be on floor. cool! but i had been standing up all that time, i didn't want to do that. plus i ultimately decided that having great seats but no friends is not as fun as not-so-great seats with friends. so, first up was Eve6. they were okay. actually let me rephrase that. the HALF-NAKED band was okay. hee hee. everyone except the lead singer, whose name i forget, were wearing short shorts. the drummer eventually took his off. great. so they jammed, lead singer doing some weird choreography up there tho lol. flapping arms, marching like toy soldier, standing flamingo. haha. i only recognized 3 of their songs ==> "Here's to the Night", "Think Twice", and Beautiful Oblivion (?). not sure what the last one's called but it goes like "socal is where my mind stays, but it's not my state of mind.... i will swallow my pride..." yeah okay i know bits of it but i like the quote about SoCal.
so after them was Goldfinger who were quite awesome by the way. they really rocked the show. i didn't really know them but i actually knew one of their songs because it's on one of the Tony Hawk PS games. lol. good song. which now escapes me. anyway the people up in seats weren't standing up, let alone jumping around, except for like 3 people. at one point the lead singer is like "Who's been to a rock show?!" *cheers* "Then what are you back there in the seats parents? grandparents?! stand the f*ck up! get the f*ck up!!" lol that was hilarious. everyone did as they were told in fear of being beaten up lol. anyway i really liked them. after the 2nd song kate, amana, and i were like "i decided i like them". haha
then finally Good Charlotte! *cheers*. they were putting the banner up and people were going crazy. hee hee silly people never seen a big banner before. they came out at i think 10pm. good set. i knew most of their songs this time! :D. i learn-ed them since going to the first GC concert. i just didn't know the 2 or 3 from their 1st album. except for the Little Things. but it was so much fun! it is very scary to jump in those bleachers at the UCF arena. when we were just standing we could feel the whole bleachers swaying back and forth lol. i lost my balance a couple times. but no i didn't fall down. these girls in front of us were standing (no, JUMPING) on the bleacher type seats- not on the floor part of it- and one girl kept slipping back! aah! her mom (?) was holding her sweater kind of, but still. she almost fell back on me lol. ANYWAY... so they played a good show uh songs included were Little Things, Lifestyles, The Anthem, Bloody Valentine,Wondering, Story of my old man, Moving On, Hold On, A New Beginning (haha doesn't really count as "song), Riot Girl, Say Anything... that's all i can remember at the moment. it was over at about 11pm
yay concert! they made a lot of use for the strobe lights on stage. that's what they're called rite? those really bright flashing lights. very blinding but it made us look cool when we moved! hee hee.
didn't buy any souveniers. 'twas a new experience at that. but souvys aren't what count.
the end.
p.s.
