the Big Machine

well it looks as though sonya has left! although i really don't know where she went. that makes me kind of sad that i don't know. i didn't get to say bye. but i understand that she didn't want to let me know. so anyway, sonya wherever you are, i hope you are doing well and i guess i'll talk to u sometime in the future!

in other news... i got a free hat and pencil yesterday! yep. this girl asked me if i wanted my picture taken to help promote that movie the School of Rock. so she gave me a baseball cap that said school of rock to wear. my mother was very skeptical as to why someone would be doing it on campus. me too. but.... i got... a free.... hat! yeah famous last words.

i went to one of my sister's slow pitch softball games last nite. it was so fun! the middle bleachers were split cuz half of it was occupied by olympia supporters. my mom and i were on the other half. the other team's parents were so loud! gosh. so then we, my mom and i, would once in awhile go "woo!". yeah we're alive. the rest of apk's supports were on the right bleachers and the table behind it. apopka was behind 4 to 0 so of course olympia was louder. then it got to 4 to 4. it stayed that way for about 2 innings! stressful. finally the apk crowd was warming up. 5th inning my sister was up first to bat. she rips the ball down through center and makes a double! yayy!! that woke everyone up and they moidered the other team that inning. 11 to 4. now all they had to do was keep them down. which they did. the first time they played olympia, they beat them 9 to 5 but it didn't count for the conference! this time they beat them 11 to 4. i'd say that's a better score to put on the record. tiffany said the guy coach didn't even mention her good hit in the post game meeting. like totally wrong dude. she had to remind him and he probably didn't even see it! i think he expects her to do well anyway... that's my theory. she also executed a great out by getting someone running home. she was the catcher yesterday. and that's the ballgame folks.
