DC Trip

I wish I had more to post about in this blog. I enjoy having it, but I just haven't really had anything to post in it lately. It's a bummer that I had to take out the comment box in the side bar. Some good memories over the years from that box...

My family and I are leaving to Washington D.C. on the 8th of August. We'll be back on the 15th. I'm actually really excited. I've totally been doing the tourist thing today and looking at stuff to do there and printing out maps. I feel like compiling everything in a folder and bringing it with us. How nerdy is that?! This is the first time we've been away on vacation for so many days in a long time. New Orleans and Tennessee were only about a 5 day stay. Hmm I wonder when the last time was that we stayed somewhere so long? Well I guess this is like a 5 day stay too because we'll be travelling on 5 of the 7 days. It's been a few years since we travelled on a plane, but I guess haven't missed it because I've been able to travel on them for SWE conferences. Ah conference, my unofficial vacation get away during school. :p Anyway, there's a lot to do in D.C., I hope we get to all of the best parts! :)
