It has been one heckuva first two weeks. I have gone through A LOT. If you haven't heard it now, i'm sorry, I don't really want to share. In short, Matthew and I are just friends now. It will never be the same again because life is not meant to be that way. As you live, things change, people GROW, and you just can't wish for things to be the way it was. It's not possible. I may sound like I'm dealing with it really well. Maybe I am now. You have to be realistic with this sort of thing. Get a grips and then... move forward. I have learned not to dwell too long on things and I'm being mature about it. I hope he is too.
Anyways... all that drama aside, school has really helped get my mind off of it. The SWE kickoff meeting with POWER was a success with over 80 people attending! The officers kicked it off with performing "I Will Survive"... SWE style! Here's the words:

Haha. During the beginning of the song there's that long intro with the piano chord... hmm don't know too much about music lingo... and during that we all turned around like dominos. lol. It was awesome. We also had some choreography!
We served them SBARRO food and then... the SWE video! Wow. I was worried we wouldn't be able to show it on DVD because the equipment was hard to figure out. But it came out swell and people complimented me. Oh it was so relieving. People laughed in the right places and everything :D. All of that just makes it so rewarding.
After the video, we had speakers and it was all so great. I was really proud to be part of SWE at that moment and I couldn't be happier.
Besides SWE, my labs... haha. Last Wednesday was so hilarious! I was going to teach them an assignment I did before but it was not the same as the teacher's. I didn't think it'd be a big deal because he doesn't come in anyways. But sure enough, he popped in. I got nervous and decided to teach what he had on his website instead. Then I was going to try to take a shortcut by not doing a view... and then he came in again! I changed my mind and started doing it. LOL. It was terrible and hilarious. I was trying so hard not to laugh and I could see a few students doing the same. Afterwards, Pam, who is one of my students, told me how much fun the lab is and that someone else in that class said the same thing. lol. Anything I can do to make a 7:30am class fun! :p It is such a fun story to tell haha. I didn't really get into much detail but that's the basics. The labs are great so far and WebCT is finally getting setup. It's really not supposed to be a stressful class and my job is to help them get through it. Oh yes and teach them a thing or two :p
Oh yes, and my classes themselves... eh they're alrite. lol. They're not that exciting. OH my Marketing teacher, the guy from Singapore, reminds me of an oompa loompa :x. I talked to him after the first class and he is short. And he looks kinda like the guy who played the oompa loompas in the new version! Plus he teaches in an auditorium where he is on an elevated level and we have to look up at him. So that makes him look small. I dunno, it's terrible, but that's what I think of when I see him haha. Osborne's class, the AutoCAD class, is not so great. He didn't explain everything like he did with my last class and he's making us work out of the ADVANCED section. I feel really bad because some students have never used AutoCAD and are really lost. And I had to open my big mouth last semester and say I'm an AutoCAD TA. But I haven't learned anything out of the advanced section! Some students know everything about it, but I don't think it's fair of him to make us all work out that far ahead. He said a few of us would be bored to death if we moved back. But I think it's the majority that he needs to be concerned about.
Other than that, everything is good. I am so glad to be in school and I wouldn't change anything about it. :)
