Strange Going-ons

I told sonya about most of these but here are the latest assimilations with harry potter and real life.

My cat found a black snake over the weekend, i called it the Basilisk.

There was this hugongous (bigger than humongous and gigantic) spider in our house, i called it Aragog.

I saw a girl's shirt where part of it read "---on *and then under it* --alley". I thought nu uh Diagon Alley! it was silicon valley.

Costco had a surfboard/bodyboard section. on one of the boards it said "---bolt". Aah it's a Firebolt! Nope, thunderbolt.

I saw a broom in my kitchen and had the sudden urge to ride it. (i managed to resist).

that's all i can think of at the moment. :)

speaking of harry potter, i can't believe they're really gonna end the movie that way!!! aahh!!! it sounds so corny. but then again the end of the second one? goodness. but i still cried at the end of that one. but this one?? hahaha! i'll still have to see it for myself to judge but the way people are describing it sounds cute/funny/cheesy/corny/nothowthebookends . :D

Yesterday I chose to go to the mall. west oaks mall. yay i saw molly! i didn't go in right away so i went to hot topic first. there was this guy offering free lotion (he worked there, this wasn't some random guy) from his cart and for once i said sure. then he tried to lure me into some other product and i successfully declined.

"here come let me show you this."
"nah *shakes head*"
"it will help improve.."
"no thanks"
"no really it will..."
hey this guy is french! i like his accent... wait i have to concentrate!
"No" <== said a little sterner
"alright have a nice day"

haha.... those frenchies are pushy. but hey i got free lotion that smelled good! but i won't buy anything from there soon.

oh yeah, and i bought this at hot topic.



i'm wearing it now and it completely stands out. cuz it's black. haha. i have a little red on my shirt so i thought it wouldn't stand out so much but then i'm wearing mostly light colors. oh well who cares! Go Go Gryffindor!! and it's cool cuz i figured out i could wear it inside out, i dont think you're officially *sposed* to, so it can match with ucf black and gold with the HP writing!! yay. :)

i dunno if it's my eyes unfocusing after sitting at a computer for so long or hp3 taking me over, but i keep seeing harry potter-related words everywhere. in articles that is. lately it's been the word "muggle". i seem to have developed an acute sense on spotting HP stuff too. while perusing through a magazine i almost flipped right past a page when i saw the word "rupert". rupert-grint-ron-harrypotterandtheprisonerofazkaban!!! i missed the pictures and the others' names but because of the name "rupert" i came to an immediate halt.

so far i've been doing a pretty good job on avoiding the new pictures they're releasing. i'll only read the articles now. and since most of them are the same, i'm not spoiling much more. however a wonder lj community has posted a downloadable version of the new soundtrack! tempting. but NO! I WILL NOT SUCCUMB! just 15 more days.... actually the sdtk comes out next week (!!!) but i dont think i want to listen to it nonstop yet. but i will buy it. play the enhanced stuff. i forget what there is, but i shall surprise myself! just 15 days... just 15... oh yeah! and they tricked us AGAIN on the e! news live episode. supposedly they were showing it last night. wrong! instead? fall show lineups. why?? WHYYYYYYY!!!!!

summer school is not so fun. i hardly talk to anyone unless it's saying an answer outloud for my calc prof. which is said with other people. so i don't think that really counts. today has actually been better than average. i was in line to buy a bread bowl of clam chowder and just as the guy was about to ask me what i wanted i yawned in his face. lol. now that's communication. oh and i was playing Text Twist (look it up in yahoo games) when a guy sat down at the computer next to me and asked what i was doing. he was trying to help me out too. aww. darn game that makes up words...

i feel like going to the mall but i dont know why. actually i feel like i want to go buy stuff and i dunno why. i don't NEED anything... and my bank account doesn't look too hot. but there are some things at hot topic that make me want to go there...i guess i feel like splurging on something. in fact i almost bought something from the ucf bkstore! no, no supporting you, you overpriced institution! at least purposely. which reminds me, i still need sunglasses. i said i would get them before summer school but i didn't go anywhere when i was off. hmm... perhaps at the mall! i dunno. ooo i can go to bells. is it bealls or bells with a bell symbol in the middle? i used to say it like beals. the first time i went there they had a loads of turtlewear. but then if i go to the mall i can see molly... ooo the choices.

I was hoping to be done with this layout by midnite, to signify the 20days thing. I wasn't going to change this one, but I saw all the new features and templates and felt inspired. Anyway, I just can't wait! Harry Potter! I've been saying to myself that I will NOT look at anymore new HP pics or trailers deliberately....if it just happens to pop up on the telly, i can't help that! :p WOOHOOOOO!!! this is my 302nd post! that calls for celebration! that's almost a post a day. sure it's about 2 months, off, but considering i "stopped" for a month, i think it's very cool. Anyone else edit their profile yet? I can see they're being like LJ with the interests and stuff. I would still like them to make their own commenting system tho. that would be chouetteness.



hahaha... i'm not that over the top! perhaps i come off this way on my journals, but you'd never know in person...at least until you say "Harry Potter"... i blame all the HP3 hype! :p

Harry Potter 3 Preview??

I usually post my dreams in my dream journal but i had to share this one! Somehow I got a sneak peak into HP3 and i was VERY excited. but as i watched it i was thinking man this is crap! . there was the cartoon Scooby Doo pup in it, then it cut to tom and jerry going slow motion thru a house. then there was this lady thinking about going on a diet and then wanting to go after scooby. there were teeny bits of harry and the rest of the trio in there. wth? for some reason i was in illinois and it was snowing. i saw molly and asked her if she got to see the preview. she said yeah.... and i said it's so crappy huh?? i was worrying and hoping the entire movie wasn't that bad.

then i woke up SO relieved that it was just a dream. haha. :) darn alfonso cuaron making me nervous about how much more "creative" this movie may be.
